Our London Venues
- Central London – Hilton London Paddington
- Greenwich- Novotel Greenwich
- Watford – Village Watford
- Croydon – Hilton Croydon
Unlike many of our competitors, we use high quality hotels and conference centres for our training courses – we recognise that training is a big deal for you, and we don’t want you spending the day in a cramped stuffy room where you can’t concentrate! We hold our PAT courses in the best venues we can find. The are all easily accessible by car and public transport (although parking is expensive at the Central London venue – as you might expect!)
The venues at Croydon and Watford both provide free car-parking and are outside of the congestion zone.
The venue in Greenwich is right next to Greenwich Train Station and Greenwich DLR Station, and there are many bus routes to and from the location. There is a car park nearby, but this will be expensive and we advise taking public transport if you can.
The Central London hotel is right next to Paddington Station. It’s our most expensive venue but quality doesn’t come cheap! It’s a superb hotel – the definition of luxury and it’s an amazing place to spend a day learning a new skill. It’s easy to access by train, bus or underground. It is possible to drive here, although car parking will be expensive. We recommend travelling by public transport if you are attending this venue.
Remember! If you have more than 5 people to train, you may find it cheaper to organise an in-house course (at your premises) or we can arrange a special date for you at a nearby hotel or conference centre. Contact us for more information.
Background
Our PAT Testing course has been designed for people with little or no background knowledge. We start right at the beginning! We’ll get you to the point where you can PAT test equipment in your own workplace or even offer a PAT Testing service to other people. Many of our previous customers work in schools, residential care homes, charities, offices, TV and film companies, equipment hire etc. The course is a mix of theory and practical – telling you what you need to know and then giving you an opportunity to put it into practice straight away. Unlike most courses we run a LOT of practical on the day, and the whole day is designed to teach you what you need to know without getting bogged down in unnecessary detail.
There is NO EXAM on the course, although there is a LOT of hands-on practical. We’ll give you the confidence to go out and carry out PAT Testing, and you’ll have all the resources at your fingertips if you need to look something up. You’re also welcome to keep in touch and we’ll provide ongoing support and guidance if you need it – we carry out PAT Testing for our clients all day, every day, so our team is on the end of the phone or the email if you get stuck!
