We present our popular and exciting PAT Testing Training Course – a one day certificated training course in Portable Appliance Testing, presented by Tim James, widely recognised as the UK’s leading expert on PAT Testing.

Our courses are a mix of relevant theory and practical work – the best way to learn this vital skill is by DOING it – our courses contain a significant amount of hands-on practical – using a variety of different PAT Testing machines and a huge range of appliances to test.

We currently use 4 venues in the capital – this page will give information on all of them and list the next available date at each one.

Our London Venues are:-

¬†Unlike many of our competitors, we use high quality hotels and conference centres for our training courses – we recognise that training is a big deal for you, and we don’t want you spending the day in a cramped stuffy room where you can’t concentrate! We hold our PAT courses in the best venues we can find. The are all easily accessible by car and public transport (although parking is expensive at the Central London venue – as you might expect!)

The venues at Croydon and Watford both provide free car-parking and are outside of the congestion zone.

We also include car parking charges in the course fee if you book at our venue in Docklands, this is also outside the congestion zone. The Docklands venue can also be accessed by the free ferry service from Canary Wharf, or is a short bus or taxi ride from Canada Water tube.

The Central London hotel is just a few minutes walk from Victoria tube and rail stations. It is possible to drive here, although car paking will be expensive. We recommend travelling by public transport if you are attending this venue.

Remember! If you have more than 5 people to train, you may find it cheaper to organise an in-house course (at your premises) or we can arrange a special date for you at a nearby hotel or conference centre. Contact us for more information.

Our PAT Testing course has been designed to take someone with little or no background knowledge to the point where they can PAT test equipment in their own workplace or even offer a PAT Testing service to other people. Many of our previous customers work in schools, residential care homes, charities, offices, TV and film companies, equipment hire etc. The course is a mix of theory and practical – telling you what you need to know and then giving you an opportunity to put it into practice straight away – unlike most courses we run a LOT of practical on the day, and the whole day is designed to teach you what you need to know without getting bogged down in unneccesary detail.

We run courses at other locations across the UK including Manchester, Sheffield, Southampton and Hull
